SHIPPING
Pieces which are in stock will be shipped within 7 working days of the placement of the order. If not in stock, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. You will receive confirmation of delivery date following placement of order. If you require a piece by a specific date this can usually be accommodated - please make a note of this on, or prior to, placement of the order. All items within the UK are dispatched via the Royal Mail’s Next Day Special Delivery service. For delivery costs on orders within or outside of Europe please email Melanie directly. Our international delivery carrier depends on the insurance value and destination of the order. If you are receiving your order outside of the United Kingdom, you will be responsible for all taxes/duties incurred through the customs department of the country to which you are shipping. It is possible for some orders to experience a delay in customs. Unfortunately, we have no control over this and cannot be held responsible. We kindly ask that you contact your local customs agency if necessary.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. However if for any reason you are not, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your purchase for a full refund, exchange or credit note. Refunds will made for the full amount of the item(s) on your order within 30 days of receipt of the jewellery. Jewellery must be in its original, unworn condition, complete with all packaging. Bespoke commissions, earrings or specially ordered pieces will not be eligible for return. Please email us to return an item. Should you find a fault with your item, please contact Melanie within 24 hours of receiving your order. Once you have notified Melanie of your faulty item, she will confirm your return in writing. You should then post the item back. When returning an item, please ensure that you package it securely and return via a tracked postal service. Our recommended service is Royal Mail Special Delivery. We do not accept any responsibility for return postage costs, nor for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These are the responsibility of the customer.
LATE AND LOST DELIVERIES
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to locate it with Royal Mail. We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of dispatch – this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost. Melanie Ostler Jewellery cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
CANCELLATION
Orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours. If you no longer wish to proceed with your purchase you must contact Melanie via email
SIZING
Please be sure to order rings in the correct size. If you do not know your ring size, we suggest visiting your local jewellery store and asking them to measure the finger on which you wish to wear the ring. Some rings can be resized, some cannot. If you do happen to order the wrong size, where possible we will resize your ring for a cost of £60. All necklaces are available with chains of any length. Please contact us prior to ordering to request custom length chains. Note, an additional cost may be applicable should you wish to order a longer length chain.
